Subject: Incorrect ferry tickets

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Kate Smith, and I am an old customer of your booking company. Ten days ago, I booked ferry tickets for me and my family including the family car, as I do every year for our annual summer holiday trip. However, things did not go as smoothly as usual.

When the tickets arrived this morning, I realized that the dates were incorrect. I booked two tickets for the 4th of July, but the ones that I actually received were booked for the 12th. Not to mention that the car was not added. There seems to be a problem with your website, since I was very clear about my booking details and also spoke to one of your employees in person.

As you can understand, I was very disappointed by the whole situation and it also caused me a lot of stress. I have been planning this family trip for the past month and I have to say that your company, which I have been trusting for the past 4 years, could be the cause of missing it, was extremely dissatisfying in its service to say the least. I must insist that you change the date of my tickets from the 12th to the 4th, and also add the car, so that me and my relatives can still have this much needed trip.

I have never had to deal with any other issues while using your company before and I can therefore understand that this was an honest mistake. However, I expect you to provide me with two extra tickets, in order to make up for the inconvenience, as it is written on your website’s protocol.

From: Arezina Green

To: “Sweet dreams” Pastry shop

Subject: damaged birthday cake

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the birthday cake I ordered from your bakery , for my friend’s suprise birthday party. I feel I must inform you how shocked I was when I opened the package and realized that not only my friend’s name on the top of the glace was spelled wrong , but also the whole dessert was badly damaged.

As the cake arrived on the exact date of her birthday , I had to immediately replace it with a new one. Most bakeries were closed and I had to drive a good distance to finally find an open pastry shop. Although it did not have great variety , I managed to buy a decent cake for my friend. On my way back I realized I was already late. When I got to my friend’s house , everyone , including her , was already there waiting for me. I apologized and explained the situation but the suprise party was ruined and nothing could change that.

I hope this matter will receive your immediate attention and will not be treated lightly . It is  really important to me and my friend that you  apologize and either send a new cake or offer me a refund. This incident was unacceptable and frustrating and it will hopefully not happen again in the future.
